Advanced Reptile Incubation Media
Just Hatch features unique micro-pocket granules that absorb and retain large amounts of water, helping to slow evaporation and maintain stable humidity levels.
Suitable for most reptile species, providing a reliable and consistent incubation environment.
How to Use Just Hatch Incubation Media
Place Just Hatch in water and soak for 10–15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly, then strain in a sieve until excess water has fully drained.
Fill your incubation container to a depth of at least one inch. Create a small well in the media deep enough to securely hold the egg in place and prevent rolling.
Suitable for most reptile species and ideal for gecko eggs. Incubation temperature and duration will vary depending on species. When the media begins to lighten in colour, this indicates it is starting to dry and may require rehydration.
Just Hatch granules contain micro air pockets that absorb and retain large amounts of water, helping to maintain stable humidity levels and reduce evaporation over time.
For species that require lower humidity, mix damp Just Hatch with a percentage of dry media to achieve the desired moisture level.
Larger incubation tubs provide more stable conditions. Add a few small air holes to allow gentle airflow, or air the container every 1–2 weeks.
Just Hatch can be reused multiple times — simply boil to sterilise, allow to cool, and reuse once fully prepared.
