Pangea Gecko Diet with Apricot

This complete diet is great for geckos with the primary source of protein and fats from egg and protein isolates. Microfiltered, undenatured micellar casein is used as a unique slower digesting protein source. We top that off with both whole egg and whey protein isolate for an incredibly complete protein combination. Additionally, eggs provide unique fatty acids that are absent in plant-based proteins making our Apricot diet a wonderful choice to feed as the primary food. All our complete diets are made at our facility in Zeeland, Michigan using premium, all-natural ingredients.

The Pangea Gecko Diet with Apricot™ is great for geckos that refuse to eat insects because it provides essential nutrients they are missing out on from live insects. The diet has a sweet flavour that entices picky eaters. The vitamin and mineral contents are also top-notch quality to keep your geckos healthy while promoting excellent growth, reproduction, and stunning eggs.

This formula is universally accepted and is a favourite amongst crested geckos, gargoyle geckos, and other giant geckos such as the New Caledonian giant gecko. This formula is less sticky than others, so there is less chance of it adhering to gecko toes or skin.

DIRECTIONS

Feed daily. Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. Open dry mix is good for 6 months at room temperature or 1 year if refrigerated. Unopened products are best before 24 months (see expiration date). Occasional insect feedings are recommended.

Apricot vs Insects formula — what's the difference?

Apricot uses egg and whey as its primary protein sources, making it ideal for insect-refusing geckos. The Insects formula uses crickets and black soldier fly larvae as its protein base, replicating a more natural diet. Both are complete MRPs — Apricot is the better choice for fussy feeders, while Insects suits geckos with a stronger prey drive.

Can you alternate it with other Pangea diets?

Yes — Pangea Apricot rotates well with any other Pangea Complete Gecko Diet. Many keepers pair it with an insect-based formula (Insects or Fig & Insects) to provide protein variety across the week.
