Pangea set out to create a crested gecko food that incorporates insects as one of the main ingredients to replicate a natural insect-based diet and generate an enthusiastic feeding response. This is one of our tastiest and most popular crested gecko food formulas so far! The insects used in the diet are North American farm-raised crickets and black soldier fly larvae. The Pangea Gecko Diet with Insects™ is formulated to contain the lowest levels of oxalates and other anti-nutrients to ensure optimal calcium absorption for strong bones and great egg production. Our combination of protein sources delivers an amino acid profile second to none.

DIRECTIONS

Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. Open dry mix is good for 6 months at room temperature or 1 year if refrigerated. Unopened products are best before 24 months (see expiration date). Occasional insect feedings are recommended but are optional.

Pangea with Insects is suitable for all frugivorous gecko species, including:

Insects vs Fig & Insects — what's the difference?

Both formulas use insects as a primary protein source, but Fig & Insects contains more than double the insect content and is completely banana-free — making it ideal for geckos that reject banana-flavoured foods. Insects uses banana as its fruit base and has a slightly milder insect flavour. If your gecko loves banana, start here. If they're banana-averse or you want maximum insect content, go for Fig & Insects.

Can you alternate it with other Pangea diets?

Yes — Pangea with Insects rotates well with any other Pangea Complete Gecko Diet. Many keepers pair it with a fruit-only formula like Watermelon or Apricot to balance insect and plant-based protein across the week.
