Since introducing the Pangea Gecko Diet with Watermelon™ in 2013, it has been regarded as one of the most popular crested gecko diets. It is great for gargoyle geckos, New Caledonian giant geckos, mossy prehensile-tailed geckos (chahoua), day geckos, and all other fruit eating geckos. The diet has a wonderful watermelon aroma when mixed!

Pangea Gecko Diet with Watermelon™ uses a combination of fruits that your geckos will not be able to resist! It has been formulated using only the highest quality ingredients, including all-natural dried fruits, whey protein isolate, egg, algaes, and more. The ingredients provide all the required nutrients for healthy growth and maintenance for your geckos. Our ingredients are selected to contain very low levels of anti-nutrients like oxalic acid and phytates. We do not use any seeds, nuts, seed meal, cereal grains or high oxalate fruits or vegetables in this gecko fruit mix.
DIRECTIONS
Mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated. Open dry mix is good for 6 months at room temperature or 1 year if refrigerated. Unopened diet is best before 24 months (see expiration date). Occasional insect feedings are recommended but are optional.

Which geckos is it suitable for?
Pangea Watermelon is suitable for all frugivorous gecko species, including:
- Crested Geckos — one of the longest-standing and most trusted MRP diets for cresties
- Gargoyle Geckos — readily accepted and nutritionally complete for this species
- Chahoua Geckos — a great staple or rotation diet for mossy prehensile-tailed geckos
- Leachianus Geckos — suitable for New Caledonian Giant Geckos as part of a varied diet
- Eurydactylodes Geckos — appropriate for frugivorous Eurydactylodes species
- Sarasin's Geckos — a good MRP option for Correlophus sarasinorum

What does it taste like?
Fresh, light watermelon — one of the most refreshing flavours in the Pangea range. Its high fruit content (over 60%) makes it very palatable, and it produces an enthusiastic feeding response in most geckos.
How often should you feed it?
- Juveniles & breeding adults: daily, or alternate with live food
- Maintenance adults: 3–5 times per week
- Always remove uneaten food after 24–48 hours
Watermelon vs Papaya — what's the difference?
Both are nutritionally similar complete diets. Watermelon has a slightly lower fat content (4.2% vs 4.5%) and a lighter, fresher flavour profile. Papaya is richer and more intense. Many keepers rotate both to provide variety and keep geckos engaged with their food.
Can you alternate it with other Pangea diets?
Yes — Pangea Watermelon can be rotated freely with any other Pangea Complete Gecko Diet. Rotating flavours is recommended to encourage a varied diet and prevent food boredom.
What size should I buy?
- 2oz — ideal for trying a new flavour or single-gecko households
- 8oz — great for 2–4 geckos or regular feeders

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
- Gecko food cannot be returned if opened.
- Items must be returned unused and in original condition unless faulty or defective.
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- The Customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

Lost Packages
- Please allow 14 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel.
- Orders confirmed as lost in the postal system will be refunded after 20 working days.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, you must report it within 12 hours of delivery.
Please provide clear photographs, including images of the item and the Royal Mail damage bag (if the parcel was split or opened). This allows us to submit a claim.

We only ship within the UK. Any orders placed from outside the UK will incur a £2 fee to cover refund processing costs.
