Gecko Pantry's Guide to the Silicone Bowl Feeding Ledge
Why use a silicone bowl feeding ledge?
Silicone feeding bowls are a popular choice for baby and juvenile geckos — they're flexible, making it easy for small geckos to access food right to the bottom, and they can be squeezed clean in seconds. This ledge holds them securely at an elevated position, replicating the natural feeding behaviour of arboreal species that eat off leaves and branches rather than the ground. Keeping food elevated also helps reduce contamination from substrate and waste.
Can I buy it without the silicone bowls?
Yes — this ledge is available with or without silicone bowls. If you already have bowls or want to source your own, just select the ledge-only option. Silicone bowls included with the ledge will be in random colours.
What size geckos is it best for?
The silicone bowl ledge is ideally sized for hatchlings, juveniles, and smaller adult geckos. For larger adult geckos or those feeding from standard pots, the Single Dish or Duo feeding ledges with removable pots are a better fit.
Can I use it as a calcium dish station?
Yes — if you keep insect-feeding geckos alongside MRP, a second silicone bowl ledge makes an excellent dedicated calcium dish station, keeping it elevated and accessible at all times.
How do I clean it?
Remove the suction cups from the glass, take the silicone bowl out of the ledge, and rinse both under warm water. The silicone bowl can be gently squeezed and flexed to release any stuck food. Both parts can be wiped with a reptile-safe disinfectant and left to dry before reattaching.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
- Gecko food cannot be returned if opened.
- Items must be returned unused and in original condition unless faulty or defective.
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
- The Customer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

Lost Packages
- Please allow 14 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel.
- Orders confirmed as lost in the postal system will be refunded after 20 working days.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives damaged, you must report it within 12 hours of delivery.
Please provide clear photographs, including images of the item and the Royal Mail damage bag (if the parcel was split or opened). This allows us to submit a claim.
International Orders
We only ship within the UK. Any orders placed from outside the UK will incur a £2 fee to cover refund processing costs.
